Frequently Asked Questions
1/ How long it takes?
The whole procedure consists of two components. 1/ Finding the job - this takes usually 1-4 months and 2/ Issuing of work permit and working visa. The period is about 2-3 months. For the nurses one more month is necessary in order the job to be confirmed by the Human Resources Canada.
2/ How to start?
Prepare your own CV. Refer to the examples we have given. The more clear and competitive your CV is, the bigger your chances for finding a job are. Send you CV to jobs@go-to-canada.com. We will contact you as soon as an employer wants to interview you. If the employer approves you, then we will sign a contract and you will pay.
3/ How much it will cost me in total?
Go To Canada gets fees according to the table. Except these, Immigration Canada requests taxes for the documentation processing at the amount of about $300 CAD. Add also the fare for the airplane ticket, which in some cases can be paid by the employer.
4/ What are the salaries?
The nurses get /gross before taxation/ 25-30$CAD per hour. The salary is regulated by their Labor Union and it depends on the working practice and experience. The software specialists get between 25 and 70$ CAD. The salary is negotiated with the employer /for which we assist/ and it depends on the company, the experience, the qualification and your educational background.
5/ May I get my family with me?
They can come to you with a tourist visa while you are working on a contract. At site they can get an offer for work by some company and with this proposal they can request work permit. We will cooperate for this free of charge.
